Business Verification

  • You must complete Facebook Business Verification.

  • A verified business is required to request access to the WhatsApp Business API.

Data & Privacy Compliance

  • You must comply with GDPR, IT Act (India), or applicable local laws.
  • Customers must opt-in to receive messages from your business (via checkbox, web form, etc.).

Messaging Policy

  • Template Messages (for notifications) must be approved by WhatsApp.

  • 24-Hour Customer Service Window: You can send free-form messages only within 24 hours of the last user interaction.

  • No spam, promotions without opt-in, or sensitive content.

Notification and Communication Consent

  • By accepting this policy, you acknowledge and consent to receive notifications and promotional communications from us through various channels, including but not limited to email, mobile push notifications, SMS, RCS (Rich Communication Services), WhatsApp, or any other digital communication platforms.

Registration & Approval

  • Businesses must register with a Messaging Partner (MSP) or carrier.
  • Approval is required for sender ID and branding

Carrier/Google Restrictions

  • Must follow the operator or Google’s branding policies.

  • RCS campaigns may be rejected if not aligned with guidelines.

Prohibited Content

  • Illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content is strictly banned.

  • No unauthorized product/service promotions.

Payment Terms

  • Charges apply for template and session messages.
  • Country- and category-based pricing.
